Video flame detection systems are available in various types using ground-breaking multi-spectrum fire detection technology
TFS can provide Video Flame Detection which provides primary fire detection using CCTV technology. It is designed to be compliant with BS5839-1:2017 (UK fire standard), uses fire-rated cabling and will operate from its internal battery supply for over 24 hours.
Each device on the system is powered directly from a Central Hub (or Extension Hub) at 24Vdc and cannot generally use existing network infrastructure.
The use of Flame Detection has multiple benefits including being able to provide fully compliant detection in areas that normal conventional methods may not be able to be utilised.
