Security Installation Engineer

Job Description

Overview

Tailored Fire & Security Group have a new exciting opportunity working as a small works engineer with our prestigious client. Our client is based in Canary Wharf, London and has sites across EMEA, therefore giving you as an Engineer a great opportunity to travel across the various sites. As an ideal candidate, you will have experience of installing large network systems on access control, preferably Lenel, however this is not essential.

Main Duties/Responsibilities

As the ideal candidate, you will be able to install CCTV, Access Control and Intruder Systems throughout EMEA. The role will be varied from smaller installations to larger ongoing projects. You will be working closely with the project managers, ensuring that project deadlines are met. As you will be based on the client’s site, it is essential that you have excellent communication skills with the ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with all management levels.

Key Responsibilities

• Installation of CCTV, Access Control and Intruder Systems in line with the company/client procedures and adhering to the British Standards.
• Working with the Project Manager and alongside the installation team to ensure that the project deadlines are met.
• Completing Risk Assessments for your own work and highlighting areas to the Project Manager.
• Providing progress reporting/pictures upon job completion or weekly for larger installations.
• Manage yourself whilst on site, with the ability to use steps and have a good understanding of Health and Safety.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with the external client and sub-contractors.

What we require from the Install Engineer:

• Professional at all times with the ability to work with the external client.
• Willing to travel across EMEA and stay away from home.
• Ability to install security equipment to a high standard in line with the British Standards.
• Ability to manage yourself whilst on site.
• Working with the Project Managers, Operations Manager and Admin Team at the office to deliver project deadlines.
