Overview
Tailored Fire & Security are looking for an experienced Multi Disciplined Service Engineer to join our busy Southern based team. As the ideal candidate you will have experience in servicing and fault finding of Security & Fire systems.
Main Duties/Responsibilities
As the ideal candidate, you will have experience in servicing and maintaining CCTV , Access Control, Intruder and Fire Systems. You will be able to attend site and complete a first time. You will be competent in working with Hikvision, Paxton, PAC, Galaxy and Texecom systems. You will be familiar with the Health & Safety regulations and be able to manage yourself whilst on site. There will be an occasional requirement for you to work and stay away, therefore travel is an essential part of your role.
Key Responsibilities
· To be able to service and fault find on Security and Fire systems.
· To be able to provide a first time fix when on site.
· Complete a point of work risk assessment whilst on site.
· Work with the General Manager and Service Coordinators on a daily basis.
· Manage yourself whilst on site, with the ability to use steps and have a good understanding of Health and Safety.
· Build and maintain strong relationships with the external client and sub-contractors.
What we require from the Install Engineer:
· Professional at all times with the ability to work with the external client.
· Ability to maintain and first time fault find on fire & security equipment to a high standard in line with the British Standards.
· Ability to manage yourself whilst on site.
· Working with the Service Manager and Service Coordinators, building and maintaining excellent communication skills.
