Fire Installation & Commissioning Engineer

Overview
Tailored Fire & Security Leeds Limited have a new opportunity that has arisen for an experienced Fire Installation and Commissioning engineer to join the growing department. You will be working on large installation projects for the department, covering predominantly the North of England, however there will be a requirement to travel to London for cover when needed. As an ideal candidate you will have experience in Gent systems.
Main Duties/Responsibilities
As the ideal candidate, you will be able to install and commission Fire Systems. The role will be working on Large Installation Projects for the Contracts Department. You will be working closely with the project managers, ensuring that project deadlines are met. As you will be based on the client’s site, it is essential that you have excellent communication skills with the ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with all management levels.
Key Responsibilities
• Installation and commission of Fire Systems in line with the company/client procedures and adhering to the British Standards.
• Working with the Project Manager and alongside the installation team to ensure that the project deadlines are met.
• Completing Risk Assessments for your own work and highlighting areas to the Project Manager.
• Providing progress reporting/pictures upon job completion or weekly for larger installations.
• Manage yourself whilst on site, with the ability to use steps and have a good understanding of Health and Safety.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with the external client and sub-contractors.
What we require from the Install Engineer:
• Professional at all times with the ability to work with the external client.
• Willing to travel across the country and to stay away from home.
• Ability to install fire equipment to a high standard in line with the British Standards.
• Ability to manage yourself whilst on site.
• Working with the Project Managers, Branch Director and Admin Team at the office to deliver project deadlines.
• A full UK Clean Driving Licence
• All employees are screened to BS7858.

What we will give you in return:
• A competitive salary up to £40,000 per annum dependant on experience.
• 21 holidays per annum excluding bank holidays, increasing for each continuous year of employment up to 26 holidays.
• Company Van.
