National Apprenticeship Week 2023

At Tailored Fire & Security, we are proud to offer apprenticeships in a wide range of roles and departments within our business.
The 6th - 12th February 2023 is National Apprenticeship Week, and we would like to take this opportunity to celebrate some of the apprentices we have on our team.
Through our apprenticeship scheme, we work with local colleges to give young people the opportunity to gain valuable, hands on experience whilst they learn, which will help them to progress in their future career.
We spoke to two of our apprentices to find out more about their role and future career goals.
Sam Seipulane - Apprentice Administrator
What apprenticeship are you currently doing?
I am doing a business administration apprenticeship, and my role at TFS is HR/Finance administrator.
What do you enjoy about working at TFS?
I enjoy having the ability to work from both a financial perspective and a HR perspective, and having the opportunity to see what it is like working in both departments.
What is your career goal?
My career goal is to progress and become either a HR Director or a Finance Manager.
Kai Kelsall - Fire & Security Apprentice Engineer
What apprenticeship are you currently doing?
I am doing a Level 3 Fire and Emergency Systems apprenticeship and I'm currently in my 3rd year of college.
What do you enjoy about working at TFS?
I enjoy learning about fire systems and gaining hands on experience working with them.
What is your career goal?
My career goal is to become a fully qualified engineer.
