Tailored Fire & Security Group (TFS) - COVID-19 - DRMT – UPDATE 2 – 7th March 2020
With the ongoing situation around the Coronavirus, the senior
management team today have discussed what TFS do as a company to minimise the
effect on our employees. As a result, we have come up with the reasonable
approach as per the below:
Office Based Employees
Visitors – effective Monday 9th
March 2020, please arrange to have all meetings either rearranged until further
notice or completed via Video/Skype.
Employees visiting other sites –
only necessary visits/meetings to take place at other sites. If you are unsure
on any visits you have planned in, please speak directly to your line manager.
Annual Leave Abroad – If you have a
holiday booked abroad, please visit the FCO.gov.uk website for travel
information on the country that you are visiting. If you are visiting a country
that is effected by the Coronavirus, please bring this to the attention of your
line manager at your earliest convenience.
Large Events – If you are due to go
to any large events, either with work or personally, please take due
consideration on personal hygiene and ensuring that you use Alcohol based Hand
Site Based Employees
As per the previous email, please
ensure that you have an alcohol based hand sanitiser in your vehicle with you
and use this before you enter site and when you leave site.
Please wash your hands more regular
than you normally would.
High Risk Individuals
If you believe yourself to be a
high-risk individual, please speak to your line manager directly.
Pregnant Employees – please discuss
with your line manager directly regarding the risk and at what stage yourself
and your manager feel you would need to work from home.
In the event where your childs
school closes due to this, please speak to your line manager directly and we
will look at what provisions can be put in place to minimise the impact to
yourself and the company.
Travel on Public Transport
Please only travel on public
transport and make journeys that are absolutely necessary. If you are required
to travel as part of your role, please speak directly to your line manager.
This is a situation that we will continue to monitor
closely, we will send out further updates as they arise, In the meantime, any
feedback or concerns are welcome to myself on an individual basis
